The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.It’s the synergies of biological chemistry, the cooperative interaction among genes in genomes, the interactivity in bacterial colonies or the reproductive capabilities of multi-cellular organisms. Ultimately, the synergy of all parts working together within the whole body that has the greatest impact of change than one element.

Incorporating a diet of whole foods includes changing habits. It’s what you eat, where it comes from and how you eat it that makes the difference.
When you consider thinking about the whole of your “self”, the vision of a healthier body and mind occurs. The process of transforming your mindset is far greater than the goal of losing ten pounds in weight loss. It’s about applying the sense of wholeness to living a better quality of life.
As we age, our metabolism and the basic functions we rely on everyday begin to naturally decline. From your vision, hearing, oxygen capacity and muscle strength slows down.
Yet,� there is so much more you can do to accelerate it again when applying a whole foods diet.
1) Think about feeding your cells, your body̢۪s energy centres with quality fats and proteins so you can move with agility.
2) Regulating your blood sugar so you feel balanced eating vegetables and fruits made with purer carbohydrates and starches for energy
3) Eliminating waste out of your body daily, regulates your whole system when using good sources of fibre and daily hydration of water empowers your whole system.
Exercise and relaxation are the other two elements that contribute to this vision. I̢۪ll address them too in the coming weeks.
